Description
This early 1900’s Spanish Colonial Revival style manor house was built by Architect John Moore for biscuit heiress Elsie Perrin Williams and her husband, Dr. Hadley Williams, and features white stucco walls, wrought iron balconies, beamed ceilings and a red clay tile roof. On her death in 1934, Elsie Perrin Williams bequeathed the estate to the city with the provision that her housekeeper have lifetime use of the property. Following the housekeeper’s death, the City of London approved Heritage London Foundation‘s request to open the estate and grounds for public use.
