Description

Opened in 1879, 493 Springbank is the third home for Woodland Cemetery which is an interdenominational cemetery owned and operated by St. Paul's Cathedral. Woodland is the home of the first Mausoleum, Crematorium and Indoor Columbarium along with the only hillside crypts in London. Come to see Annie Pixley's Mausoleum and many intersting family plots and monuments. Volunteers throughout the property will provide information and specific historic sites, a map for a self-guided tour will also be available. Refreshments wil be available along with items to purchase, the proceeds of which will be used to enhance our walking tour and tour literature for the future.

DO London Experience

For the second year in a row Woodland Cemetery will open it's crematorium doors to the public. Come and get the answers to the questions you've always had about cremation. Stage actress Annie Pixley's mausoleum will be open to the public with volunteers telling/enacting the story of her life, career and death.
