Description
The ARTS Project, a non-profit organization, has been operating at this site for over 10 years providing opportunities for performing artists and visual artists. The building was first constructed for use as Hawthorn's Hotel. It also served as a theatre, billiard hall and numerous retail stores most notably Rowland Hill Shoe Store from 1939 until 1992. The ARTS Project houses two galleries, a black box theatre and eleven artist studios.
Do London Experience
The ARTS Project does not often allow the public to visit the second and third floor studios so this is a rare opportunity to look behind the scenes and meet the artists at work.
