Does it cost anything to attend?

No. Doors Open London is a free event, open to all members of the public.

Do I need to go to all of the sites?

No. Please do not feel that you must visit all of the sites. There are likely too many sites for one person to visit in a weekend. Start by choosing 5 or 10 that really interest you, and go from there. Be sure to check the hours of each site when you plan your DO London weekend.

What locations should I visit?

Choose places that peak your interest! Some people plan their time around a theme, for example, 19th-century architecture, green spaces, museums, or buildings that offer interactive activities. Others choose a particular neighbourhood in the city and explore buildings there. Remember that most sites take at least 30 minutes to visit.

What should I bring with me?

Dress according to the weather. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. Don't forget sunblock or a hat, bottled water and a camera.

What locations have activities for kids?

Families and children should feel welcome to visit all DO London site locations. Some sites do have particular activities that are special for kids. Please check individual site descriptions in the DO London map guide on online for information about kids’ activities.

What are the hours of admission?

Most sites are open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please check individual site listings in the map guide or website.

Can I take pictures?

We encourage that you enjoy your weekend and take photos. Please check individual site listings in the map guide or website to ensure that photos are permitted.
